Last summer Street Feast London took a disused 1950s indoor and outdoor market in Lewisham and transformed it into a weekend street eating destination, breathing new life into the local community.



Luckily for us this weekly (Friday & Saturday) summer event is set to continue from April through to 3/4th of October 2015.

I went along with friends for the first time this weekend and had a ball. It's definitely something I'd do again. Here's some visual highlights from last night.

































































Street Feast Model Market opens at 5pm and is very kid friendly, with the kiddy crew taking advantage of the early free entry. Later on the families with kids move out and the scene gets more party like, fuelled with alcohol and louder! 

Overall Street Feast Model Market has pretty much something for everyone unless you're the kind of person who needs minimal and super tidy. As with all crowded places I'd recommend leaving valuables at home or at least having them well packed away.
